Final Fantasy VII (FF7) is one of my most favorite games ever.
It's a playstation game which changed the way
I play my games. Here are some tips
and secrets to FF7
Secret Cave in Wutai
When you are in Junon and you've just defeated the robot boss in disk2. Head for the
red submarine and while going there you should find some boxes near. Open both of them and
one of the boxes should contain Tifa's weapon and the other should contain an item called
Levithan scales. Take the scales to the mountain in Wutai and find the cave with fire
all over the place. Go near each fire and the scales should put out the fires and there are
some weapons and useful items.
Ultamate weapons
Cloud -
In disk 2 or disk 3, when you have the highwind and completed everything in Mideel.
go to the eastern continent near Fort Condor and there should a giant circle pool with a dragon
floating on top of it. That dragon is the Ultamate weapon and holds Cloud's best weapon.
Bump in to it and you will fight the dragon which is not very hard but watch out for some of
his attacks. If you manage to beat him, he will run away and you have to chase him and try to bump
into him again. Repeat until he flys near the Cosmo Canyon area and that will be your final battle.
Barret -
In the end of disk 2 when you are in Midgar and you have to have barret in your party.
Go toward the place you need to go and you should fight a gigantic red robot. If you beat
him, go forward until some stairs. During your climb toward the top of the tower there should
be a box with Barret's missing score weapon.
Cid -
Somewhere in disk 2, after the rocket in Rocket Town launches in to space, go to Rocket
town and the old man will give you Cid's ultimate weapon, the Venus Gospel
Yuffie -
You will find Yuffie's ultimate weapon, the Conformer in the sunken Gelnika. It's in the
first room to Cloud's right when you enter. CAUTION: The sunken Gelnika is a place where some of the game's hardest monsters
lurk. They give you lots of gil, EXP and AP but they are very dangerous. The sunken Gelnika
also contains the Hades summon in the bottom floor.
Emerald Weapon
One of the hardest enemies in the game is the Emerald weapon which hangs out underwater
near Junon. You can find him by crashing into him with the submarine but do the following
things first.
*Get to level 80 or higher
*Get KOR (Knights of the Round)-explained later
*Your partys' ultimate weapons.
*1-3 Mime materias. (You can use a cheap trick for this one!)-explained later
*lots of Turbo Ether, Phoenix down, and Elixers
*equip one or more people with a armlet that protects against water atacks
*Final Limit Breaks (just in case)
*Connect Phoenix Summon with Final attack materia
Procedures: First put a mime on each member of you party if you can. Put KOR on one
person who doesn't have a mime IF you have less than 3 mimes. As you can see, the basic
strategy is to unleash KOR and luckily with 3 Mimes you can mime it forever. But unfortunatly,
the only way you can get more than one Mime is to master it. There is a cheap trick to do

any gameshark or anything. Back to the subject, Emerald weapon has some dirty tricks under
his sleeve. Watch out for his lasers that take either MP or HP away. If this happens,
either use healing magic, ethers or even Elixers. Half way through the battle, he attacks with
Air Tank Storm (or something like that) which is guaranteed to kill you unless he misses.
The only way to surviving this is the Phoenix Summon connected to Final attack so you
can be revived.
